Deutsch: “Ich bin Maler. Meine Bilder sind meistens figürlich, gegenständlich, aus dem Leben gegriffen. Und immer starkfarbig. Ausflüge in die totale Abstraktion erlaube ich mir. Besonders reizvoll ist für mich aber die Gratwanderung zwischen Abbildung und Malerei – ein Zustand wie auf dem Drahtseil. Malerei ist Umsetzung mit dem Geist und Körper.”

English: “I am an artist. My pictures are mostly figurative, representational, taken from life, and always brightly colored. I allow myself excursions into total abstraction. What is particularly appealing to me, however, is the tightrope walk between illustration and painting – a state similar to being on a tightrope.  Here, painting is implemented with both the mind and body.”
